The Fabric of Forgotten Women

A feminist fabric workshop where paint, thread, and reply become a collective banner. In collaboration with Tower Gallery, London. Coming soon.

This workshop begins with a question: What happens when we stop looking at hidden histories and start answering them?

Participants are invited to paint, write, draw, and stitch their replies onto a long piece of fabric, a collective banner- installation that becomes an act of unravelling one story and stitching another. The workshop is grounded in feminist practice: it centres women who were erased, exploited, or diminished, and invites participants to respond with their own marks, words, and materials.

No experience is necessary. The making is the reply.

The banner installation created during the workshop will be donated to Tower Gallery, where the workshop takes place, becoming part of the gallery's collection and a lasting testament to the collective replies stitched into it.
