Words, Bodies, Resistance: A Creative Encounter at Tate Modern
A workshop to slow down and creatively engage with Nalini Malani’s powerful installation at Tate Modern. Through playful language, mindful observation, and mixed-media making, we’ll explore how presence can be a form of resistance. (Coming soon)
Words, Bodies, Resistance is a two-hour creative workshop developed in collaboration with Bosla Arts, responding to Nalini Malani’s immersive installation at Tate Modern.
Blending embodied reflection, playful word work, and visual expression, the session invites participants to explore how creativity and presence can become quiet forms of resistance during times of political upheaval. Through guided interaction with the artwork, a collective word game, and a hands-on drawing and writing session, participants engage with themes of memory, fragmentation, and transformation. No artistic experience is needed—just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to listen and respond.
