The climate crisis is the greatest ever threat to human rights. The economies of all nations, the institutional, political, social and cultural fabric of every state, and the rights of all your people, and future generations, will be impacted. For a better and sustainable future, this call to action should be based on participation, collaboration, and engagement. This important action is reflected in the exhibition with a sensory methodology applied in the arts. You don’t remain passive, your senses are involved having a holistic perception, your body takes a new meaningful process through movement and engagement, and that’s the optimum state of learning. Stimulation of our senses fuels our biological, cognitive, social, and
emotional development. These sensory experiences drive emotions, and emotions determine wellbeing.
This exhibition explores the Climate Emergency through the senses, sustainability, and action. Most of the artwork, installation, and design has been made with recycled, sustainable, and pre-loved materials promoting sustainable and ethical practices as a way of continuous life cycle.
Alongside the exhibition, we hosted a public programme with talks, art and movement outdoor workshops, and a public forum, inviting the local audiences and communities in to explore creatively the main topic and promote change and community work in their surroundings.
